The king is a fantastic fish that requires very little. We'll make it in the oven this time, along with some potatoes.


  •  4 king pieces (red pomfret)
  •  4 large potatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Pepper
  •  1 glass of white wine
  •  Salt


  1. This king dish, also known as a red poppet, is extremely simple to prepare. We begin by peeling and slicing the potatoes. Next, we'll fry them (just a little) in plenty of oil before placing them in a source.
  2. When the potatoes are ready, season with salt and place the seasoned king (red pomfret) on top before placing the dish in an oven preheated to 180oC for 8 minutes. After the timer goes off, we water the pomfret with wine and bake for another 12 minutes, or until the fish is done to our liking (the time will depend on the size of each fish and the type of oven).
  3. After that, we remove the dish from the oven and enjoy a delicious king dish with potatoes.
