Here in Argentina (where I'm traveling), they call it Radicheta, and I'm not sure if it's known as Chicory or Arugula in Mexico, but I found this incredibly simple salad combination very interesting and tasty.
I'm not sure if this is a common salad in this country or if it's a family recipe to accompany your meals, but I'd like to share it with you today and hope you enjoy it.
Ingredients
- Chicory (Radicheta)
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (or the one of your preference)
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Radicheta should be washed.
- Finely mince the garlic.
- Make small pieces of the radicheta.
- Mix in the garlic.
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Add a half-teaspoon of vinegar.
- Season with salt to taste (to taste)
- Mix thoroughly until all of the ingredients are combined.
Notes
- This salad can be served as a side dish to a main course. I hope you enjoy it and will share your thoughts with us.
